I am a photographer located in Charleston, West Virginia. I have always loved photography. My Dad had a tiny photography studio back in the 80's when I was just a little thing, maybe 5 years old. It was fun posing for him and seeing the results days later when the pictures were developed using the negatives. I sometimes forget how far the industry has come since then. 

I've always had a little artsy side to me growing up. I spent my free time in high school in the art room with my teacher, Mrs. Howard. I learned all types of media and even went to college to earn a degree in Graphic Design. I worked as a freelance designer for a couple of years but I was in need of a little more stability. I ended up going back to school to get a masters in teaching for special education and also become certified in math. I taught middle school math for about 9 years. 

I met my wonderful husband and we started our family. Now, 4 kids later, and 10 years of marriage, we live a hectic life, but I wouldn't change any of it. With the support of my family I have started to become more creative with my photography. I have started to specialize in portrait photography that includes children, maternity, engagement, newborns, families, pets, and seniors. For the past couple of years I have been involved in Clay little league sports, taking many teams sports pictures and found that I love it just as much as portraits. I am learning something new all the time and look forward to getting even better with each click of the camera.
